As an Android Developer with Career.zycto, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to translate concepts into reality. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java/Kotlin code for Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
- Strong understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with modern Android development practices (e.g., Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, MVVM/MVI architecture).
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices for Android.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
