Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and passionate Angular Developer to join our dynamic team in Hoylake Promenade, Liverpool. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our frontend applications, from conceptualisation through to deployment and ongoing support, working closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular (versions 10+).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into interactive and responsive user interfaces.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring high code quality across the team.
- Work closely with backend developers to seamlessly integrate frontend components with API services.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions to enhance application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Angular versions, best practices, and emerging frontend technologies to drive innovation.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Angular (versions 10+ preferred) and TypeScript.
- In-depth understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS/LESS.
- Experience with state management patterns, such as NgRx, for complex applications.
- Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and efficient asynchronous request handling.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and practical solutions.
- Experience with modern version control systems, especially Git.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and common design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with popular testing frameworks (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Jest) for unit and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- A portfolio of previous Angular projects or active open-source contributions.
