Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises, both on foot and via company vehicle, to maintain a high visibility presence.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit entry.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, following established protocols and procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately in daily log reports and incident reports.
- Enforce company and client policies and regulations.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborate with emergency services (police, fire, ambulance) as needed during critical situations.
- Perform routine checks on safety equipment and infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent observational and communication skills (oral and written in French, English an asset).
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive reports.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and communication.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Security Guard License (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous customer service experience.
