Job Description
Are you a budding animator with a passion for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail? Bolloré Logistics in Nacala is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Animation Helper to join our growing team on a flexible, part-time basis. This unique opportunity allows you to contribute your creative skills within a dynamic logistics environment, playing a crucial role in developing engaging visual content for various internal and external communication needs.
In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing ideas to life, assisting in the creation of animations for training modules, safety awareness campaigns, marketing presentations, internal communications, and even local community engagement projects. You will work closely with our HR, Marketing, and Operations teams to understand their communication objectives and translate complex information into clear, compelling, and visually appealing animated sequences.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the conceptualization and development of animated videos and graphic assets for various communication purposes, including training, safety, and marketing.
- Support senior animators or team leads in storyboarding, character design, background creation, and animation sequencing.
- Perform routine tasks such as asset organization, file management, and rendering of animation sequences.
- Ensure all animated content aligns with Bolloré Logistics brand guidelines and communication objectives.
- Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Operations departments to understand project requirements and feedback.
- Conduct research for visual references, styles, and animation techniques to enhance project quality.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new visual communication ideas and initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of animation software and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender).
- Strong understanding of animation principles, timing, and storytelling.
- Basic graphic design skills and ability to create visual assets.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English and/or Portuguese.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing animation or design work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or holding a degree/diploma in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related creative field.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Experience with 2D animation techniques; 3D animation skills are a plus.
- Understanding of corporate communication or e-learning content creation.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software and workflows.
