Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new API integrations across various internal and external platforms.
- Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of existing API integrations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Document API specifications, integration logic, and troubleshooting guides for new and existing systems.
- Participate in the debugging and resolution of integration issues, working closely with support and engineering teams.
- Contribute to the implementation of security best practices for API endpoints and data exchange.
- Stay updated with the latest API technologies, integration patterns, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and other web services protocols
- Basic understanding of data formats like JSON and XML
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Postman)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
- Previous experience in the telecommunications or fintech industry
