Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and passionate A&R Administrator to join our burgeoning team in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in the music industry to play a vital supporting role in the Artist & Repertoire department. As an A&R Administrator, you will be the backbone of our talent scouting and development efforts, ensuring that all administrative processes run seamlessly, allowing our A&R managers to focus on what they do best: finding and nurturing incredible artists.
You will be responsible for a wide array of administrative tasks that are critical to the successful operation of our A&R division. This includes managing extensive databases of demo submissions, artist contacts, and project statuses. Precision and attention to detail are paramount, as you will be tasked with maintaining accurate records, tracking deadlines, and preparing reports that inform strategic decisions. Beyond data management, your role will involve significant coordination, from scheduling meetings and travel arrangements for A&R executives to liaising with artists, management, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize all incoming demo submissions, ensuring accurate logging and timely review by A&R team.
- Maintain comprehensive artist databases and project trackers, keeping all information current and accessible.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for A&R managers and artists.
- Prepare and format various documents, including contracts, presentation materials, and reports.
- Act as a primary point of contact for external inquiries related to A&R, directing them appropriately.
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking for A&R projects and departmental operations.
- Liaise with legal, marketing, and creative departments to facilitate project progression.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Support the A&R team with research into emerging artists, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Manage office supplies and administrative resources for the A&R department.
Required Skills
