We are seeking a highly organized and passionate A&R Administrator to join our vibrant team in Ashtead, Leatherhead. This full-time role is crucial for the smooth operation of our Artist & Repertoire (A&R) department, providing essential administrative support to A&R Managers and executives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track all demo submissions, ensuring they are properly logged, categorized, and distributed to relevant A&R managers.
- Maintain and update comprehensive artist databases, contact lists, and project pipelines with exceptional accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate complex schedules, meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments for A&R executives and artists.
- Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documentation for the A&R department.
- Assist with the preparation of artist contracts, deal memos, and other legal documents, ensuring timely communication with legal teams.
- Handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for incoming inquiries from artists, managers, external partners, and internal departments.
- Conduct research on emerging artists, industry trends, market analysis, and competitive landscapes to support A&R strategies.
- Organize and archive both physical and digital files, ensuring efficient retrieval and compliance with internal protocols.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for various A&R tasks, including presentation preparation, event coordination, and ad-hoc projects.
- Attend industry showcases, events, and meetings as required, representing the company professionally.
- Facilitate seamless communication flow between the A&R department and other internal departments such as marketing, legal, finance, and production.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries (2+ years).
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and ability to handle highly confidential information with integrity.
