This position is the backbone of the A&R team, ensuring smooth operations, meticulous record-keeping, and effective communication both internally and externally. You will be instrumental in managing demo submissions, coordinating meetings with artists and management, and handling sensitive contractual documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and log demo submissions, ensuring timely review and feedback processes.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, travel arrangements, and appointments for A&R executives.
- Prepare and process expense reports and manage departmental budgets.
- Maintain and update artist databases, contact lists, and project tracking systems.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise with artists, management, producers, and internal departments (legal, marketing, finance) to facilitate smooth operations.
- Conduct research on emerging artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Organize and archive A&R files, recordings, and intellectual property.
- Support A&R team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as required.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
