Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic A&R Administrator to join our vibrant team in Bisley, Surrey. This full-time role is crucial for providing comprehensive administrative support to our A&R department, ensuring smooth operations as we continue to identify, sign, and develop groundbreaking artistic talent. As an A&R Administrator, you will be at the heart of our talent discovery process, supporting our A&R managers and executives in their daily activities. Your responsibilities will span across managing schedules, coordinating meetings, processing expenses, and maintaining critical databases of artists, demos, and industry contacts. You will be instrumental in organizing travel arrangements for scouting trips and artist showcases, preparing presentation materials, and handling sensitive information with the utmost discretion. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting.
  • Manage and maintain artist databases, demo submissions, and contact lists with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute relevant materials.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and marketing materials for artist showcases and meetings.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for incoming inquiries related to artist submissions and general A&R operations.
  • Process invoices, contracts, and other documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the onboarding of new artists, ensuring all necessary paperwork and initial arrangements are completed.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on emerging artists, market trends, and competitive analysis as requested by the A&R team.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all A&R-related documents, both physical and digital.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, proactively identifying areas for process improvement.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Demonstrated passion for music and a basic understanding of the A&R process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, Communications, or a related field.
