Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout, identify, and sign new musical talent across various genres, demonstrating a keen understanding of current and future industry trends.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, producers, managers, and other key industry contacts to build a robust talent pipeline.
- Oversee the creative development process for signed artists, providing guidance on songwriting, production, and overall artistic direction.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, legal, and other internal teams to strategically plan and execute artist releases and promotional campaigns.
- Negotiate and finalize artist deals, ensuring terms are fair and beneficial for both the artist and the company.
- Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to ensure Career.zycto remains at the cutting edge of music discovery and development.
- Attend live performances, showcases, and industry events regularly to scout talent and network.
- Prepare detailed reports on artist development, market analysis, and potential signings for senior management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in an A&R role within the music industry.
- Demonstrable track record of identifying, signing, and developing successful artists.
- Extensive knowledge of music trends, genres, and the evolving digital music landscape.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Exceptional ear for talent and an innate understanding of commercial potential.
- Proficiency in English and German, both written and verbal.
