Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and identify emerging musical talent across diverse genres through live shows, online platforms, industry showcases, and networking events.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including artists, managers, producers, songwriters, and promoters.
- Review and evaluate demo submissions, showcasing an acute ability to recognize potential and market viability.
- Provide constructive creative feedback to artists, assisting in their artistic development, songwriting, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with legal, marketing, and production teams throughout the artist signing and development process.
- Stay abreast of current music industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform talent acquisition strategies.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry events, festivals, and conferences, acting as a brand ambassador.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on potential signings, including market analysis and projected success.
- Negotiate basic terms of artist agreements and assist in contract finalization.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in A&R, talent scouting, or music industry management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify commercially viable and artistically compelling musical talent.
- Extensive knowledge of current music genres, industry trends, and emerging artists.
- Proven networking and relationship-building skills within the music ecosystem.
