Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout and identify new musical talent across various genres through live shows, digital platforms, and industry networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
- Evaluate potential artists based on their musical ability, songwriting, performance, marketability, and commercial potential.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on potential signings, including market analysis and competitive landscape.
- Stay abreast of current music trends, emerging artists, and developments in the music industry.
- Attend showcases, concerts, and industry events regularly.
- Collaborate with A&R management, marketing, and legal teams on artist development strategies and contract negotiations.
- Provide creative feedback and guidance to artists to help refine their sound and artistic vision.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in A&R, talent scouting, or music industry roles with a strong track record of identifying successful artists.
- Deep knowledge of diverse music genres and current industry trends.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and evaluation abilities for artistic and commercial potential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English and German is highly advantageous.
