Key Responsibilities
- Actively scout, research, and identify new musical talent across various genres through live shows, online platforms, industry contacts, and demo submissions.
- Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including artists, managers, producers, promoters, and legal professionals.
- Attend live performances, showcases, and music industry events to discover and evaluate potential artists.
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective artists, understanding their creative vision, career aspirations, and market potential.
- Prepare comprehensive talent reports, presentations, and analyses for review by the A&R team and senior management.
- Negotiate and facilitate artist signing deals, working closely with legal and business affairs departments.
- Collaborate with artists on creative direction, song selection, recording process, and overall artist development strategy.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform scouting strategies.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry functions and maintain a professional and positive image.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to signed artists throughout their career journey with the company.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in A&R, talent scouting, music management, or a related field within the music industry.
