Key Responsibilities

  • Actively scout and identify emerging musical talent across various genres and platforms.
  • Attend live performances, showcases, and industry events to discover new artists.
  • Cultivate and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, including managers, producers, and promoters.
  • Review and evaluate demo submissions, digital profiles, and social media presence of potential artists.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, audience demographics, and commercial potential.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on prospective artists for senior A&R leadership.
  • Negotiate and facilitate initial artist agreements and signing processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, artist development) to strategize artist growth.
