Key Responsibilities
- Assist audio engineers and producers meticulously during recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
- Efficiently set up and expertly tear down microphones, audio interfaces, cables, and other essential audio equipment.
- Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on all audio equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity.
- Accurately monitor sound levels and consistently ensure recording quality throughout sessions, promptly reporting any anomalies or issues.
- Provide basic troubleshooting for common audio hardware and software issues that may arise during production.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the audio booth, control room, and associated storage areas.
- Prepare session files, manage secure backups of all recordings, and diligently organize digital audio assets.
- Offer administrative support as required, including assisting with session scheduling and providing client reception services.
- Actively collaborate with all team members to ensure a cohesive, efficient, and creatively productive workflow.
Required Skills
- Basic foundational understanding of audio recording principles and diverse equipment types.
- Familiarity with at least one major digital audio workstation (DAW) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational abilities.
