Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior audio technicians with the setup, operation, and strike of audio equipment for live events.
- Learn to identify, connect, and configure various audio components including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and loudspeakers.
- Support the management and organization of audio cables, stands, and accessories to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on audio gear under supervision.
- Shadow experienced technicians during events to observe and learn best practices in sound mixing and system optimization.
- Contribute to the packing and unpacking of equipment, ensuring proper inventory and care.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company guidelines for equipment handling and event production.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the audio department's workspace and equipment storage areas.
Required Skills

- Basic understanding of sound principles (e.g., signal flow, acoustics, basic electricity).
- Ability to lift and move audio equipment weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
