Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring all products are securely packed according to company standards.
- Generate accurate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation.
- Verify outgoing shipments against orders to ensure accuracy in quantity and type of product.
- Organize and maintain the shipping area, ensuring it remains clean, safe, and efficient.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, following safety protocols.
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, internal departments, and customers regarding shipment statuses.
- Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided if necessary) safely and efficiently.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency (data entry, email).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even non-shipping related) is a plus.
