Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, noting discrepancies.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Pick and pack orders for outbound shipments, verifying product quantities and quality to meet customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits, contributing to accurate stock management.
- Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational issues or concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations during night shifts.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management systems.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) with valid certification.
