As a Night Logistics Assistant, you will be instrumental in the accurate processing, receiving, and dispatching of products, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and meeting delivery deadlines. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, noting discrepancies.
  • Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilization.
  • Pick and pack orders for outbound shipments, verifying product quantities and quality to meet customer specifications.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other material handling machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with regular inventory counts and audits, contributing to accurate stock management.
  • Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding operational issues or concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations during night shifts.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management systems.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) with valid certification.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar operational environment, particularly in a night shift capacity.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures.
