Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in Chibuto, Gaza Province, on a part-time basis. This pivotal role provides essential administrative and operational support to our internal audit department, ensuring the smooth execution of audit processes and maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. As an Audit Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing audit documentation, organizing data, and facilitating communication within the audit team and with other departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the audit team in preparing, organizing, and maintaining comprehensive audit documentation and working papers.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, interviews, and follow-ups with relevant departments and auditees.
  • Support in data gathering and analysis, including retrieving financial records, statements, and other pertinent information.
  • Format and proofread audit reports, presentations, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and professional standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
  • Manage and track audit findings, recommendations, and action plans, following up on their timely resolution.
  • Provide general administrative support to the audit department, including filing, archiving, and managing office supplies.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity.
  • Basic understanding of administrative processes and office procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (internship or part-time) in an administrative support role, preferably within a financial institution or audit firm.
  • Familiarity with banking operations or internal control concepts.
