Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Detailing Supervisor to lead our detailing team at our Chinhoyi branch. This pivotal role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing vehicles to their pristine best. As an Auto Detailing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our detailing operations, ensuring that every vehicle, whether new, pre-owned, or customer-owned, meets our stringent quality standards. You will manage a team of detailers, providing training, guidance, and support to foster their professional development and maintain a high level of productivity and craftsmanship. This role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of various detailing techniques, products, and equipment. You will be instrumental in scheduling tasks, managing inventory of detailing supplies, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the auto detailing team.
- Inspect vehicles before and after detailing to ensure adherence to Croco Motors’ quality standards.
- Train new detailers and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to existing staff.
- Develop and implement efficient detailing processes and procedures.
- Manage inventory of detailing supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
- Operate and maintain a variety of detailing equipment, including buffers, polishers, and steam cleaners.
- Address customer concerns and special requests regarding detailing services.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Schedule detailing appointments and ensure timely completion of all jobs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and detailing techniques.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in professional auto detailing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Extensive knowledge of detailing chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Class 4 driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical qualification or certification in automotive detailing or related field.
- Experience with ceramic coatings and paint correction techniques.
- Basic computer proficiency for scheduling and inventory management.
