Are you looking to kickstart your career in the automotive service industry within a vibrant, hospitality-driven environment? Uroa Bay Beach Resort is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Detailing Helper to join our dedicated team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for making things shine. As an Automotive Detailing Helper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine condition and immaculate appearance of our resort’s vehicle fleet, which includes guest transfer vehicles, utility vans, and other operational transport.
No prior professional detailing experience is required, as we are committed to providing comprehensive on-the-job training. You will learn the ropes from experienced professionals, mastering techniques in interior and exterior vehicle cleaning, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and general upkeep. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the guest experience by ensuring our vehicles always present a clean, welcoming, and luxurious image, reflecting the high standards of Uroa Bay Beach Resort.
This role involves a hands-on approach, requiring physical stamina and the ability to work effectively in varying weather conditions. You will be responsible for meticulously cleaning vehicle interiors, including vacuuming carpets and upholstery, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and ensuring all areas are spotless. On the exterior, your duties will range from washing and drying to applying protective waxes and polishes, tire shining, and trim restoration. You will also assist senior detailers with more complex tasks, learning advanced techniques and product application.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning windows.
- Execute exterior washing, drying, waxing, and polishing of resort vehicles.
- Clean and shine tires, wheels, and exterior trim.
- Assist senior automotive detailers with more complex detailing tasks and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing workstation and equipment.
- Monitor and report any vehicle damage or maintenance needs observed during detailing.
- Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all resort safety and operational guidelines.
- Support the transport and maintenance team with other duties as assigned.
