Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting bakery products.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
- Maintain clean, organised, and visually appealing display counters and shelves.
- Ensure all bakery items are correctly labelled and priced.
- Assist with rotating stock to ensure product freshness and minimise waste.
- Package bakery items carefully and efficiently for customers.
- Replenish stock on shelves and displays throughout the day.
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with general cleaning duties of the counter area, serving utensils, and customer seating areas.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, ingredients, and pricing.
