Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials, primarily steel and aluminum, according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine appropriate welding techniques and sequences.
- Inspect welds for quality, structural integrity, and adherence to company standards and industry codes (AWS).
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welders, grinders, and other fabrication tools, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Position and secure parts and assemblies prior to welding, utilizing clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development to enhance welding proficiency and stay updated with new technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and best practices
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS (American Welding Society) certification
- Experience with plasma cutters and other fabrication machinery
- Previous experience working with a variety of metal alloys
- Forklift operation certification
