Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately process a high volume of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cheque cashing.
  • Manage and balance cash drawers daily, ensuring all transactions reconcile without discrepancies.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities to educate customers on bank products and services.
  • Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) guidelines.
  • Assist customers with account opening and closing procedures, statement inquiries, and other general banking needs.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security for all customer information and transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with branch colleagues and management to achieve team goals and enhance overall branch performance.
  • Proactively identify potential fraudulent activity and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
  • Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment such as computers, printers, and coin counters.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on product knowledge and compliance requirements.
  • Promote a positive and welcoming branch environment for all customers.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in cash handling and transaction processing.
