Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise setup of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and other event décor according to detailed function sheets and client specifications.
- Support banquet servers diligently by delivering food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely service and guest comfort.
- Promptly clear tables of used dishes, glassware, and cutlery, transporting them safely to the dishwashing area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the banquet space throughout events, anticipating and addressing any needs.
- Replenish supplies such as water, bread, condiments, and other essentials as required, ensuring guests have everything they need.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines and hotel policies and procedures.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly, professionally, and with a friendly demeanor.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with kitchen staff, banquet servers, and other hotel departments to ensure smooth event operations and a cohesive guest experience.
- Assist with the breakdown and cleaning of banquet areas post-event, ensuring all equipment is stored correctly and the space is prepared for the next function.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain, Event Manager, or Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to ensure overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (e.g., 3-6 months) in a hospitality or food service role, particularly in banquet or event settings, is a significant advantage.

- Ability to speak Portuguese fluently is highly beneficial for interacting with local guests and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
