Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise setup of banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and décor according to event specifications.
- Serve food and beverages to guests with professionalism and attention to detail, adhering to established service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests promptly and courteously to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Clear tables, transport dirty dishes and glassware to the kitchen, and assist with dishwashing duties as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas, service stations, and storage rooms throughout events.
- Assist with the breakdown of event spaces, carefully packing away equipment and ensuring the venue is ready for subsequent events.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, event planners, and other service team members to ensure coordinated service.
Required Skills
- No prior banquet or hospitality experience required – full training provided!
- Strong work ethic and a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
