Key Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with setting up and breaking down the bar area for service.
- Ensure the bar is fully stocked with clean glassware, ice, garnishes, and essential spirits, beers, and wines.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping.
- Wash and polish glassware, ensuring they meet hygiene standards.
- Restock fridges and shelves with beverages as needed throughout service.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage recycling during and after shifts.
- Support bartenders by preparing simple garnishes (e.g., slicing lemons, limes, oranges).
- Assist with receiving and storing inventory deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including food and beverage handling guidelines.
- Provide a high level of support to the bar team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with basic requests as appropriate.
