Key Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive range of barbering services including classic and contemporary haircuts, fades, tapers, beard trims, and hot towel shaves.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired styles, offering professional recommendations and advice on hair care and grooming products.
- Maintain an impeccably clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to all sanitation and sterilization guidelines.
- Manage appointments efficiently, accommodating walk-ins when possible, and ensuring timely service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, fostering a welcoming and engaging atmosphere to encourage repeat business.
- Stay informed about current barbering trends, techniques, and product innovations through continuous education and practice.
- Assist with inventory management and product sales as needed, recommending retail products that complement client services.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a licensed Barber (minimum 2 years).
- Expertise in various cutting techniques, including fades, tapers, scissor over comb, and razor cuts.
- Proficiency in classic and modern shaving techniques, including hot towel shaves and beard detailing.
- Active and valid Minnesota Barber License.
- Exceptional customer service and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
Preferred Qualifications
