Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverage items according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner, taking orders and processing payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter area and dining space.
- Monitor and replenish coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a cafe setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso extraction, and milk frothing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for crafting high-quality beverages.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
