Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and contemporary cocktails, coffees, and fresh juices.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our bar menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage cash and card transactions accurately, operating the POS system efficiently.
- Ensure the bar area is consistently clean, organized, and well-stocked, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen and waiting staff to ensure seamless service flow.
- Adhere to all local and company liquor laws and regulations, including responsible serving practices.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Contribute to the development of new cocktail recipes and promotions.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the bar station as per company standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender, with a strong focus on cocktail preparation
- Excellent knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, particularly in food and beverage service
- Fluent in English and French (Creole a plus)
