Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, taking orders and making recommendations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including spirits, wines, beers, and special cocktails.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices, including checking IDs and refusing service when necessary.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking, rotating, and tracking liquor, beer, wine, and mixers.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Operate and maintain bar equipment, reporting any malfunctions to management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a high-volume setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling.
- Knowledge of local and state liquor laws and regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
