Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and speed.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, providing menu recommendations and taking orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Process guest payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and exercise responsible beverage service practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow in the restaurant.
- Manage inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste.
- Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold the highest standards of guest service and resort reputation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain bar cleanliness.
- Proficiency in using POS systems.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from a reputable bartending school.
- Previous experience in a luxury resort or international hospitality brand.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish, French).
