As a Bed Delivery Driver with Career.zycto, you will be the face of our service, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, timely, and professional delivery of beds and mattresses directly to our customers’ homes across London, with a primary focus on the Richmond area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload beds, mattresses, and associated furniture items to customer residences.
- Adhere strictly to delivery schedules and routes, ensuring punctuality and efficiency.
- Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including clear communication, addressing inquiries, and confirming satisfaction.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork and process electronic records via handheld devices.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including organising stock and preparing deliveries, as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
- Work collaboratively with the dispatch team to resolve any delivery challenges or changes.
Required Skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence (Category B minimum).
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely (e.g., beds, mattresses).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
