Key Responsibilities
- Assist employees with the benefits enrollment process, providing clear and concise information regarding available plans and eligibility.
- Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding benefits coverage, claims, and general plan details.
- Accurately input and maintain employee benefits data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other relevant databases.
- Verify enrollment forms for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and benefits providers to resolve enrollment discrepancies and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications and educational materials to employees.
- Support the annual open enrollment period, assisting with presentations, data collection, and processing.
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and benefits information in compliance with privacy regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is a strong asset for Quebec City)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a patient and empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous administrative or customer service experience in any industry
