Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, media, and solutions according to established protocols.
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware.
- Assist scientists with experimental procedures, including sample preparation, handling, and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental data and inventory logs.
- Monitor and manage laboratory supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Support general laboratory upkeep, organization, and cleanliness.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative research environment.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field (or currently pursuing a relevant degree with significant lab experience).
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
