Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain applications and smart contracts.
- Collaborate with product managers and other developers to define blockchain-based solutions and features.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and quality of blockchain codebases.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate new blockchain technologies and protocols to enhance existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug blockchain applications, identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the evolving blockchain ecosystem, including new developments in distributed ledger technology, cryptography, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in blockchain development.
- Proficiency in at least one major blockchain programming language (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Go, Python).
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including consensus mechanisms, cryptographic principles, and distributed ledger technologies.
- Experience with smart contract development and deployment on platforms like Ethereum, Solana, or Polkadot.
- Familiarity with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar blockchain interaction libraries.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.
- Experience with layer-2 scaling solutions (e.g., Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism).
- Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices in blockchain environments.
