Key Responsibilities
- Provide close protection for assigned executives and personnel.
- Conduct thorough advance work and threat assessments for all locations and travel routes.
- Ensure secure transportation, including defensive driving and route planning.
- Maintain constant vigilance and situational awareness in all environments.
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard individuals and assets.
- Respond effectively and professionally to all security incidents and emergencies.
- Liaise with local law enforcement, emergency services, and internal security teams as needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
- Operate and maintain security equipment and communication devices.
- Provide basic first aid/medical support when necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in executive protection or close protection roles.
- Valid Canadian Security Guard License.
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- Proficiency in threat assessment and risk management.
- Expertise in unarmed combat and self-defense techniques.
- Strong observational and surveillance detection skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
- Clean criminal record and driving abstract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Executive Protection (e.g., from PPS, EPI, or equivalent).
- Experience with advanced security technology (CCTV, access control systems).
- Fluency in additional languages.
- Background in law enforcement or military close protection units.
- Knowledge of local Canadian security regulations and laws.
