Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, vendor payments, and client collections.
- Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process payroll and associated tax filings efficiently.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
- Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online for all bookkeeping tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
