Key Responsibilities
- Perform seeding, transplanting, pruning, and harvesting tasks for various plant species.
- Assist with irrigation and fertilization of plants according to established schedules and protocols.
- Monitor plant health, identifying and reporting any signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse, including weeding, sweeping, and tidying work areas.
- Operate basic greenhouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., hand tools, carts, watering wands).
- Prepare growing media and pots for planting.
- Assist with packaging and preparing plants for shipment or or sale.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
