Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized and group boxing training programs tailored to client goals and fitness levels.
  • Instruct clients on proper boxing techniques, footwork, defense, and offensive strategies, ensuring safety at all times.
  • Conduct dynamic warm-ups, cool-downs, and stretching exercises.
  • Incorporate strength, conditioning, and cardio elements into training sessions to enhance overall fitness.
  • Motivate and encourage clients to push their limits, maintain consistency, and achieve their fitness aspirations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and adjust training methods as necessary to maximize client progress.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training area, ensuring equipment is properly used and stored.
  • Manage client schedules and maintain accurate records of training sessions and client progress.
  • Stay updated on current boxing trends, training methodologies, and health and fitness best practices.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic training environment.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and safety guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Boxing Trainer or professional boxer.
  • Demonstrated expertise in boxing techniques, footwork, and defensive strategies.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
  • Exceptional ability to motivate, inspire, and communicate effectively with clients of varying backgrounds.
  • Proven track record of client success and retention.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt training styles to suit individual needs.
  • High level of professionalism and punctuality.
  • A genuine passion for boxing and fitness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA).
  • Certification in boxing instruction from a reputable organization.
  • Experience working with both youth and adult populations.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Background in competitive boxing or martial arts.
  • Proficiency in basic nutrition principles related to athletic performance.
