As a key player in our project lifecycle, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis to elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze and evaluate existing business processes, systems, and data flows to identify areas for improvement and propose strategic solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, process models, use cases, and other supporting documentation.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, project managers, and quality assurance to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
- Facilitate communication and foster strong relationships between business stakeholders and technical teams, acting as a liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in testing activities, including developing test cases, executing user acceptance testing (UAT), and verifying solutions meet business needs.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN) and creating visual documentation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Proficient in using productivity tools such as MS Office Suite, Jira, or similar project management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or CSM.
- Experience working with remote teams and distributed collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying.
- Experience in the SaaS or consulting industry.
