The Business Development Manager will be a key driver of growth for Career.zycto, responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities within the Kelowna and broader British Columbia market. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand our market share in Kelowna and British Columbia.
- Identify and research potential clients, industry trends, and market opportunities to generate qualified leads.
- Initiate outbound contact with prospective clients through cold calling, networking, email campaigns, and social selling.
- Conduct compelling presentations and proposals to showcase Career.zycto's recruitment services and value proposition.
- Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with our recruitment team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM software.
- Represent Career.zycto at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Stay informed about market conditions, competitor activities, and recruitment industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management (minimum 4 years).
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the recruitment and staffing industry.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for client visits.
