Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and cultivate new corporate client opportunities within the designated territory, with a focus on Denham Town and the wider Kingston region.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed challenging sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and financial analyses for prospective and existing corporate clients to identify specific financial requirements.
- Structure, propose, and negotiate tailored corporate banking solutions, including credit products, treasury services, trade finance, and digital banking platforms.
- Prepare comprehensive client proposals, presentations, and financial models that align with client objectives and NCB’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal departments such as Credit Risk, Legal, Product Development, and Operations to ensure efficient client onboarding and service delivery.
- Stay abreast of local and international market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting the corporate banking sector.
- Build and maintain a strong network of professional contacts within the Jamaican business community.
- Provide ongoing relationship management, acting as the primary point of contact for corporate clients to foster long-term partnerships and ensure client loyalty.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards throughout the client engagement lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in business development, corporate sales, or relationship management within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a corporate client portfolio.
- Profound understanding of corporate banking products, services, and financial markets.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
