Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Business Intelligence solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems into data warehouses.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI deliverables.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing BI tools and infrastructure.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging BI technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
  • Expertise in at least one leading BI tool (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, including Kimball methodology.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Talend).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure SQL Data Warehouse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for data manipulation and automation.
