Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and security of all passengers throughout the flight, adhering strictly to aviation regulations and company procedures.
  • Provide exceptional and personalized customer service, anticipating passenger needs and responding promptly and courteously to requests.
  • Conduct pre-flight safety checks of the cabin, ensuring all equipment is in working order and supplies are stocked.
  • Deliver engaging safety briefings and demonstrations, ensuring passengers are fully aware of emergency procedures.
  • Serve meals, beverages, and duty-free items, managing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist passengers with boarding, disembarking, and stowing luggage, ensuring a smooth and organized process.
  • Handle passenger queries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy, aiming for swift resolution.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to in-flight emergencies, including medical incidents, turbulence, and security threats.
  • Maintain a pristine cabin environment, ensuring cleanliness and order throughout the flight.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow crew members and cockpit crew to ensure seamless operation and communication.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately, including incident reports and customs declarations.
  • Uphold the airline's brand image and reputation through impeccable personal presentation and conduct.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a face-to-face role.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential for Canadian routes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required aviation security clearances and medical certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Physical fitness to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, standing for long periods, and remaining alert during irregular hours.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods away from home.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the airline, hospitality, or tourism industry.
  • Additional language proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic).
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (current or willing to obtain).
