Key Responsibilities
- Precisely measure, cut, and install various types of cabinets (e.g., base, wall, tall, custom) according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Verify dimensions and specifications on-site to ensure accurate fit and alignment.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment required for cabinet installation.
- Assemble cabinet components, including drawers, doors, hardware, and accessories.
- Ensure all installations are level, plumb, square, and securely anchored.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other trades to coordinate work and address any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs to existing cabinetry as needed.
- Protect client property during installation and clean up the work area thoroughly upon completion.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cabinet installation or finish carpentry.
- Proficiency in using power tools (saws, drills, sanders) and hand tools.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and cabinet construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and design drawings.
- Excellent measurement and mathematical skills.
