Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced mining personnel with various tasks, including equipment maintenance, material handling, and site preparation.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Support the setup and dismantling of equipment and machinery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site, including clearing debris and ensuring pathways are clear.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and safety briefings.
- Transport materials and supplies manually or using basic mechanical aids.
- Perform general labour duties as required to support overall mining operations.
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
- Good physical condition, capable of performing demanding manual labour, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
