Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Elevator Mechanics with the installation, repair, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems.
- Learn to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues under direct supervision.
- Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment specific to the elevator trade.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate actively in on-the-job training and safety briefings.
- Follow all instructions and complete tasks efficiently as assigned by senior mechanics.
- Document work performed and materials used accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and building management as required.
