Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models from initial sketches, specifications, and calculations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and design intent.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Perform design reviews and make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback.
- Manage and maintain CAD drawing databases and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other project-related reports.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve design conflicts using advanced CAD tools.
- Continuously update skills and knowledge of new CAD software features and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation.
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and engineering drawing standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
