Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items, beverages, and snacks according to established procedures and portion control guidelines.
- Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain proper cash float.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food service areas, equipment, and dining spaces, adhering strictly to hospital and public health standards.
- Replenish food stations, condiments, and serving supplies as needed to ensure continuous service.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
- Interact courteously and efficiently with patients, visitors, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as required.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to food safety, hygiene, and infection control.
- Support the Nutrition Services team with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient cafeteria operations.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
